Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take for content to appear?

Once you select items, they are assigned to human writers. Often your first quote will be ready the same day and will post at the next scheduled time.  Rich Summaries take a little longer as there is an additional human quality review, but usually within 4 business days. We recommend selecting 10 new quote and 4 new summary sources each week to keep the content flowing consistently.

Once the content is completed Quotes move to the Waiting to Promote column on the Link Quote Kanban Board.  Rich Summaries are in Waiting to Post - and after posting move to Waiting to promote on the Rich Summary Kanban Board.

 How often does content post?
  • Quotes are scheduled to post to Facebook once per day.
  • Summaries are scheduled to post and promote every 2 days, Sometimes, due to timing differences the post that appears on your blog today may not be the post that appears next on Facebook. You can always see the queue on your Rich Summary Kanban Board.
How many stories should I pick each week?

To take advantage of the current settings you should select 10 quotes and 5 summaries per week.

While the system is set to post 7 quotes and 3 summaries per week,  keep in mind that not every story you select will be completed. Some will fail because they do not pass the quality checks, others may have data errors due to interstitial advertising, pay walls, or multi page content (like slideshows).  Check out our post on Content Selection Tips for more on that.
