If you’re not a Photoshop rock star and want to edit featured images for your blog posts, then Canva just may be the tool for you.  In this video, I demonstrate the PRO version which allows you access to more than 60+ million stock images, photos, and graphics.   If you are using your own images you would simply upload those to Canva and select them instead.

You'll want your images at 740x390 to use with the InstaBlog or SuperBlog. That gives you the best look for your blog and has all the marketing features visible that we recommend.

In this 5 minute video, you’ll learn how to select and easily crop and edit images to the perfect size for the SuperBlog or InstaBlog.

Then, you will add those images to your blog's media library, where you can add those images one by one to your posts or learn about Quick Featured Images Pro here, and automate adding featured images to your posts.

Click Create a design.

Click Custom dimensions.

Enter 740 x 390 px, click Create new design.

You can simply add new pages if you wanted to, in order to create multiple images in one document.

Go to Photos.

Type in the keyword for your desired photos.  Click on the photo you selected.

Drag edges to fit.  Make sure to stay proportion when you’re dragging.  I recommend dragging on corners instead of sides.

When making images for Facebook, faces are better than inanimate object. Try to find generic but useful images that are helpful to promote your stories you are selecting, generic enough that you can use in almost any story.  When done selecting images, type the name of the file.  Click Download.

Select PNG for File Type and click Download.

Click on your downloaded file and extract the images.
